VAT

Value added tax (VAT) is a tax imposed by the state and is paid by persons registered as VAT liable either in case the liability arises or voluntarily.

Until 31.12.2023 the standard rate of VAT in Estonia is 20%. From 1 January 2024, the standard rate of VAT in Estonia is 22% instead of the previous 20%.

The new standard rate of VAT will automatically change on 01.01.2024 in the Stebby environment, applying to different views in the system in addition to reports and invoices generated by the system.
