Insurance claims - How to proceed in the event of a claim?

1. Start with telemedicine:

We highly recommend starting your care journey with telemedicine. Statistics show that 80% of initial contacts can be successfully resolved through a remote consultation, saving you travel time and allowing you to speak with a doctor at your convenience.

You can access telemedicine through:

  • Digital Clinic
  • MinuDoc
  • Any other telemedicine provider of your choice

2. Using a partner medical service provider:

If you require an in-person visit or your telemedicine provider recommends specialized care, please keep the following in mind when visiting a doctor:

  • Mention ERGO: Always inform the provider that your health insurance is through ERGO.
  • Direct Billing: If the provider is an ERGO partner, you do not need to pay for treatment upfront. You are only responsible for the portion that exceeds your coverage rate.
  • Identification: You must bring a valid identity document.

3. Using a non-partner healthcare provider:

If you cannot find a suitable provider within our partner network, you are free to visit any doctor of your choice. In this scenario, follow these steps:

  • Pay the treatment bill yourself at the time of the visit.
  • Fill out a damage claim to recover your costs HERE.
  • ERGO will reimburse the costs according to your specific policy terms and coverage rates.
