What is the public list of participants?

While creating an event and its registration form, you can choose whether you wish to display any of the registration data publicly or keep the data hidden. To control this, there are two toggle buttons at the end of the registration form, and the column “Public” with check boxes.

In case you choose to display registration data publicly, it will be shown to all Users in the event menu item “Participants”.

There are two ways to present the registrations publicly - either by only displaying the registration count or by also showing the ticked “public” fields in the list - i.e. showing the participants name, competition class, team, company etc. to all Stebby Users either logged in or not.

  • To show only the number of registrations, turn on the first toggle button “Display the number of registrations publicly” at the bottom of the registration form.
  • To display the number of registrations and participant data (name, competition class, team etc.) publicly, turn on also the second toggle button “Display data from fields marked as Public to all users” and tick the desired boxes in the registration form fields in the column “Public”. Please note that only a choice of certain fields can be marked as Public due to privacy concerns.

Before completing the registration, the User will be shown a list of fields which will be displayed publicly.

NB! To protect the Users’ privacy, the registration list cannot be changed to public after the first registrations have been made.
